Spanish
Residency
It
is likely that new legislation will come into effect 31st March 2007 in
Spain which will bring the country in line with European Law on the subject.
This effectively negates the need for Residents to apply for the Residency
Card.
However
there will still be a requirement to prove ones 'Fiscal Domicile' (where
one lives and or pays their main tax). This is likely to take the form
of a Residency Certificate.
The
devil is in the detail and we still have some points regarding the new
changes that need to be clarified. Like any such changes, it can take
some time to filter down, for example in the local bank, supermarket,
notary office, police station etc. but we will try to seek clarification
as more information becomes available.
If
there is a need, we hope soon, to be able to offer some type of Service
in this area.

because of the circumstances of the individual, we reserve the right to
make an additional charge, for which the Client will be advised prior
to any action being taken.
